Mission & Goals

The Chance Theater is an award-winning, professional non-profit organization dedicated to the exploration of intimate live theater.

We shall achieve this purpose through developing and maintaining a company of actors, directors, designers and technical staff committed to producing dynamic interpretations of impactful stories regardless of the genre. The Chance strives to fully engage our audiences and our community provoking visual, emotional and visceral experiences.

We shall do so through our productions, original concept projects, new works festivals, youth educational programs and community outreach efforts. As North Orange County’s principal theater company, our aim is to expand into a midsize Equity venue.

It is our defining belief that true art is found through moments of chance and only through risk shall the extraordinary moments of chance be found.
