Celebrating at "The Chancies"

In celebration of the productions and performers in our 2007 Season, many of our Subscribers, Sustaining Members, friends, family, Resident Company and Board Members of The Chance, all came out to the 2nd Annual Chancie awards!

The evening began with lovely refreshments donated by Le Grande Marketing, La Casa Garcia, and Tom and Carol Hamman. The Community Center's large meeting hall was beautifully decorated with balloons and centerpieces by company member Karen Webster, and our hosts for the evening- company members Warren Draper and Jocelyn Brown, were both funny and entertaining.

Some of the highlights of the entertainment were the extremely funny adaptations of 2 of the songs from last year's musicals I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change and Sunday in the Park with George written and choreographed by company members Bob Simpson and Lowe Taylor and performed by many members of last year's productions.

The company members came up in sets of two to introduce each award and they all had a blast coming up with their presentations: from a Graph presenting which supporting actor had the most balls, to a Costumers listing of do's and don'ts, to a twilight zone parallel universe where there are no directors.

The ballots were secretly tabulated by our Vice-Chairman of the Board, Mr. Guy Marr, and the results were revealed at a very fun and enjoyable evening of songs, skits, and awards!

Congratulations to all the winners!
