2013 Resident Playwright
Marshall Pailet
For the 3rd year in a row, Chance Theater will have a resident playwright whose work will be featured throughout the year in the On The Radar Series. Previous resident playwrights include Zayd Dohrn and Adam Szymkowicz. Over the years, the resident playwrights have returned time and again to have their work featured in both the OTR Series.
We are very excited to introduce you to our 2013 resident playwright… Marshall Pailet. Marshall is a director, writer and composer for musical theater, plays, animated films, and is the proud owner of a wildly untrained, but ultimately well-meaning terrier-mix. He’s worked on a number of projects such as; Shrek the Halls (DreamWorks Theatricals) and the film, VeggieTales: Noah’s Ark starring Wayne Brady (Original Songs). Graduate Yale University.
This year, Marshall will have two of his shows featured in the OTR Series — a staged reading of a brand new play, Who’s Your Baghdaddy?or How I Started the Iraq War, and Loch Ness, a new musical.
