Colin Martin just ended a run as Hamlet to cheering houses with The California Shakespeare Co. in Thousand Oaks. He is an accomplished actor/ singer with more than two decades of experience in theatre and film. He is very glad to be back in Southern California doing local theatre after a 3-month tour of the Midwest with the Hampstead Players in an adaptation of The Secret Garden. In addition to these roles, you may have seen him in other favorites, including: Iago and Cassio in Othello, Marlow in She Stoops to Conquer, Tuzenbach in Three Sisters, Gratiano in The Merchant of Venice, and Sasha Smirnov in Room Service. Film credits include: Jack in Caght and Sir Or’Ange in Restoration Dogs. Colin is a graduate of South Coast Repertory’s Advanced Acting program and holds a degree in Stage Production from American River College. He has also extensively studied American Russian Theater technique.
