Artist Profile
John is a native of Butte, Montana and recently retired as a professor of computer science. As an undergraduate engineering student, he took an elective course in Modern Drama which started a continuing interest in the theatre. After taking several playwriting courses at SCR, he was a founding member of New Voices Playwrights Workshop. He has written about 16 short plays and two full-length plays, most of which have been given readings or productions by New Voices.
