Karyn D. Lawrence is an award-winning theatrical lighting designer based in Los Angeles. She received her Master of Fine Arts Degree in Lighting Design from The University of California, Irvine. Regional theater credits include South Coast Repertory, The Theatre @ Boston Court, Ebony Repertory Theatre, International City Theatre, East West Players, The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, The New Swan Shakespeare Festival, and Great River Shakespeare Festival. She is the resident lighting designer for award-winning theater company: Fugitive Kind Live Theater. In addition to theater, she is one of Radiance Lightworks’ lead lighting designers for Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights. She currently teaches lighting design at California State University Los Angeles and Occidental College.
