Artist Profile

Kevin’s career began nearly 20 years ago – not surprisingly – as an actor. Having spent some time performing for local theme parks and studying theater in New York at AMDA, he returned to Southern California where he discovered his passion for fabrication and design – and that’s really where this story begins.

Throughout that time, Kevin has had the opportunity to serve as Resident Properties Designer at The Laguna Playhouse, Fullerton Civic Light Opera, and for the Reprise Theatre Company. He has also worked as a fabricator, designer and consultant for 20th Century Fox, McCoy-Rigby Entertainment, Walt Disney Co, AM/PM, The HUB Network and a variety of other prestigious organizations. Each collaboration presented unique challenges and opportunities for growth – a consistent and ever evolving goal for Kevin.

In 2010, after leaving The Laguna Playhouse, he joined up with a small production company where he discovered a penchant for large scale fabrication and production design. Honing his skills, he then moved on to work with video game producer Red 5 Studios as their Live Studio Operations Manager and as Production Designer for the Video Marketing Division. After nearly two years with the gaming company, he went on to work with Delusion, Los Angeles’ premiere interactive/immersive theater company. Kevin and the core team quickly forged a strong relationship and in their time together realized the production of three highly acclaimed and sold out immersive shows. Additionally, with Delusion, Kevin took on the task of Production Designer for the first live-action virtual reality television series, produced by Skybound Entertainment, based on Delusion’s hit 2014 show Lies Within.

Kevin currently sits as the Properties Department Supervisor for UCLA’s School of Theater, Film & Television and with his spare time, works as a freelance consultant and designer.
