Artist Profile
Stephen began acting in high school in Iowa, then went on to work in Texas, teaching children’s theater and creating the character of Shanamir, a medieval thief infected with fleas. Shanamir became popular on the Dallas based TV show Kidz Club and at the Dallas Renaissance Festival. He moved to CA in 1990 to attend the American Academy in Pasadena and majord in Cinema/Television Production at USC. He has directed numberous short films, including Memories of a Bag Lady, which was recently acquired by Atom Films.
