We are delighted to be producing Jenny Connell Davis’ Matinicus: The Story of Abigail Burgess. Not only are we huge fans of Jenny and her playwriting, but this is the 2nd Chance commissioned play, and a world premiere (the 2nd one this year). We hope that you all enjoy this play, as well as the inspiring actress who plays Abigail, in her 2nd show at the Chance. There are times when being 2nd is GREAT! We love participating on a closer level with the creative process and the artists are both rewarding and educational, and it’s about time we got educated! Rachelle has served on the Board since 2015, which gives Eddie more time for tennis/pickleball, and keeps Rachelle off the streets. Most of the time 🙂
