[PHOTOS] Design Preview Party of “Colonialism is Terrible, But Phở is Delicious”

Chance Members and Friends gathered on the Cripe Stage on February 27th to get a sneak peek into the creative process for the Rolling World premiere of Colonialism is Terrible, But Phở is Delicious.

Chance Members, Resident Artists, and community partner Viet Creatives Collective gathered at the Bette Aitken theater arts Center to get a sneak peek into the creative process of this biting new comedy by Dustin H. Chinn.

We heard from Dustin (via Zoom), dramaturg Natalia Duong, scenic designer Avery Tăng, and director Oánh Nguyễn before the four-person cast — Hannah Mariah, Dustin Vuong Nguyen, Chloe Gay Brewer, and Sam Bullington (on Zoom) — took the stage. The evening wrapped up with members and artists rubbing elbows and enjoying a special Phở Bar (deliciously prepared and sponsored by Sally Ann Catering) in the lobby.
